due to so many changes recently, and confusing wording in some policies..here is a breakdown on store policies for you all...remember though, stores have the right to refuse any coupons if they want...
Winco: will take ip (internet printable coupons), will adjust coupon if more than price of item to make free, does NOT give overage, does NOT take competitor coupons, has a 1 coupon per item limit,(no stacking) does accept BOGO coupons
Safeway: will accept a manufacturer coupon (including catalinas!) that displays another retailer’s logo as long as the coupon is for a specific item – for example, $1 off Skippy peanut butter. But they will NOT accept manufacturer coupons that are for just for an amount off, without a specific product listed – for example a coupon for $3 off your purchase, will adjust coupon if more than price of item to make free, does NOT give overage, will NOT take a coupon on the free item when part of a BOGO sale, Rainchecks can be issued for up to six (6) items unless otherwise stated in the applicable advertisement. allows "stacking"- using store coupn and a manufacturer coupon on ONE item.
Fred Meyer: does NOT accept competitor store coupons, do not allow print-at-home(IP) coupons that do not require any other purchase-ie: free items, do not accept manufacturer’s coupons that state they are valid only at another listed retailer (i.e., “Good only at Safeway”). Most Catalina coupons (the coupons that print out for you at our check stands) are manufacturer coupons and are stated as such. Catalina coupons that are printed with another retailer name may be accepted at Fred Meyer. Fred Meyer will receive credit for the coupon from the clearinghouse. Note: This only applies to Catalina coupons and not other manufacturer coupons that are designated as valid for use at a specified retailer…so CAN use walgreens register rewards, albies OYNO etc I guess since it says manufacturer at top….does not give overage, and they have adjusted my coupons down to meet price of items many times, paper and e-coupons can not be combined, does allow stacking
QFC: even though a kroger family store like fred meyers, they do NOT take oyno OR register rewards catalinas, all else should be same as freddie's..no coupon policy on site I could find, paper and e-coupons can not be combined
albertsons: allows stacking, does not take competitor coupons, does NOT take IP coupons on free items or exceeding $5, but will accept manufacturer coupons for free items, does not give overage, will "double" up to and including $1 coupons, allow 3 transactions in a row, will "double" coupons that say "do not double", will accept 2 coupons on bogo sales..one per item, even though one item is already free
Walmart: gives coupon overage in cash back or applied to rest of transaction, only 1 coupon per item, whether a store or manufacturer coupon, accepts competitor coupons(NOT OYNO or walgreens register rewards., etc), will price match an ad from another store EXCEPT for % off sales..ex: buy one get one 50% off, will ad match BOGO sales IF specific price is stated in ad, will accept coupons on ad match items(but as far as bogo ad match combined w/ bogo coupons..not so much, lol), will NOT accept IP for free item
WIC or SNAP items purchased in a WIC or SNAP transaction are ineligible for cash back or application to the basket purchase.
Great Value, Marketside, Equate, Parents Choice, and World Table coupons have no cash value and are ineligible for cash back or application to the basket purchase.
The system will prompt for supervisor verification for:
40 coupons per transaction.
A coupon of $20 or greater on one item
$50 or more in coupons in one transaction
Walgreens: Competitor coupons are not accepted. The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register RewardsTM manufacturer coupons, may not exceed the number of items in the transaction. The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction, In the event that any item's selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons. accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer. The coupon amount must be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value). When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.
Rite Aid: Rite Aid will accept internet / print at home coupons up to the equivalent value of $5.00 off, will only accept one coupon per PAIR of items that are on Buy One, Get One Free Promotion. but not if is a BOGO coupon..ie: no more BOGO coupons allowed on BOGO sales to make both free.
Rite Aid may accept up to 4 identical coupons for the same number of qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers within the store manager’s sole discretion..so cannot use more than 4 of the same coupon on no more than 4 items...ex: have 4 purex coupons for $1/1, to be used on 4 purex dtergents
Target: We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued coupons and manufacturer-issued.

if you find an item in a competitor's printed ad that is priced lower than it is at your Target store, we will match the price. The competitor's ad must be local and current, and the product must be the identical item, brand name, quantity and model number. Target.com is excluded from our price matching policy. Competitor catalogs can also be ad matched as long as the catalog displays a valid date and meets all other qualifications.
What if I've already made the purchase at Target?
No problem. Within seven days of purchase, bring your Target receipt and the competitor 's current printed ad. We will reimburse the savings to you.
